IFR Merit Based Scholarships for International Applicants, 2015


The Institute for Field Research is offering merit based scholarships to students attending IFR programs. Each Merit-Based scholarship is $2,500. This scholarship has no cash value and will be awarded as IFR field school tuition reduction only. Applicant must be current student or graduated in the past five years for any institution of higher education (community college, university, etc.) anywhere in the world.

STEM Scholarship for Women in Management in Germany, 2015




ESMT European School of Management and Technology is offering four Women in STEM scholarships. Einstein Fellowship for International Applicants in Germany, 2016


The Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation are offering a fellowship for outstanding young thinkers who wish to pursue a project in a different field from that of their previous research. The fellowship includes living accommodations for five to six months in the garden cottage of Einstein`s own summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg, only a short distance away from the universities and academic institutions of Potsdam and Berlin.

Chinese Government Scholarship-WMO Program, 2015




Chinese Government Scholarship-WMO Program is available in the field of meteorology, hydrology, and water resources supervision & management in China. This scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate and master’s degree and doctoral degree program. This program supports undergraduate students for no more than 5 years, master students for no more than 3 years, or doctoral students for no more than 4 years. La Trobe’s Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) in 

Australia, 2016




La Trobe University is offering academic excellence scholarships (AES). Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. Aichi Scholarship Program for Asian Students in Japan,

The Aichi Prefectural Government is offering ten scholarships to graduate level students from Asian countries who are nominated by the universities in Aichi. Scholarships will be awarded for a period of 6 months (as a research student) and 2 years (as a master’s course student). SFIAR Award for Agricultural Research in Switzerland, 2015


The Swiss Forum for International Agricultural Research (SFIAR) is offering research award for graduates and scientists of a Swiss institution who work in agricultural research for development. The best research team project wins CHF 10’000 and the best Master thesis project CHF 1’000. To be eligible for this award, applicants must have been carried out at or in close collaboration with a Swiss institution involved in ARD and have appropriate linkages in developing countries. The application deadline is 15 July 2015.


National Scholarship Programme for Foreign Applicants in Slovak Republic, 2015-2016


Applications are invited for National Scholarship Programme to support study/research/teaching/artistic mobility of foreign students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists at universities and research organisations in Slovakia. The scholarship shall cover scholarship holders’ living costs (accommodation, board, etc.) during their study/research/teaching/artistic stay. Selection Committee decides who will be awarded a scholarship in the framework of the NSP. The Committee is appointed by the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students at City University London in UK, 2015

 

 

 

 

 

 City University London is inviting applications for vice chancellor’s scholarship for starting an undergraduate course in September 2015. The Scholarship is worth £2000 each year towards tuition fees and is paid for a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance each year. 2015 Dr Abdul Kalam International Postgraduate Scholarships at University of Sydney, Australia


The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies of University of Sydney is offering Dr Abdul Kalam Scholarships for international students. Scholarships are valued at 50% of the tuition fees for one year of study in any postgraduate program. The student must be enrolled full-time in the master program, commencing in semester 2. Selection will be based on academic merit. Application deadline is 31 May 2015 for Semester 2.

CIMO Fellowships for International Doctoral Students in Finland, 2015-2016

 

 

 

 

 

 

Applications are invited for CIMO fellowship programme available for students and researchers from all countries and from all academic fields to pursue doctoral studies at a Finnish university. Visiting Doctoral-level students and researchers who are doing their Doctorate degree at some foreign university can also be considered eligible, provided that the motivation letter of the hosting Finnish university department presents exceptionally good grounds for such an application. The grant is 1,500 euro/month. The grant is personal and is intended to cover for the subsistence costs of the scholarship holder in Finland. Additional support for accommodation will not be paid nor will CIMO pay travel or visa / residence permit expenses. Trips abroad to collect research materials cannot be included in the scholarship period. Applications must be submitted at least 5 months before the proposed scholarship period.
 

International Undergraduate Scholarships at University of Melbourne in Australia, 2015-2016


University of Melbourne is awarding up to 50 international undergraduate scholarships. Scholarships are available for international students (other than Australia and New Zealand) who hold an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course. These scholarships  are awarded on the basis of academic merit and allocated on a competitive basis subject to quotas by course and region. The application deadline is 1 November 2015.

VINNMER Marie Curie Incoming Fellowships for International Researchers in Sweden, 2015-2016



VINNOVA offers 100 Marie Curie Incoming Fellowships for research within the Mobility for Growth programme in Sweden. The call targets internationally experienced researchers currently working outside Sweden who have a doctorate (or at least four years’ full-time equivalent research experience) in collaborating with private and/or public sector organisations. For highly experienced researchers (more than ten years’ full-time equivalent research experience) collaboration is optional. The grant is intended to fund half the salary of the researcher (project leader) for the duration of the project. It also covers additional relevant and justifiable costs relating to mobility. The application deadline is 16 September 2015.

Global Alliance Scholarships for International Students in Switzerland, 2016-2017




Applications are invited for Global Alliance Scholarships available to students living and working outside of Switzerland. Scholarships, based on financial need, are available to applicants who do not receive employer assistance in funding their executive education. The scholarship covers 50 percent of the total tuition fee of the EMScom Executive Master of Science in Communications Management beginning in March 2016. The application deadline is January 31, 2016.




USTB Chancellor’s Scholarship Program for International Students in China, 2015

 


 University of Science and Technology is awarding chancellor’s scholarship for international students. Scholarship duration for master’s degree students is 2-3 academic years and for doctoral degree students is 3-4 academic years. Scholarship students are required to take one-year remedial Chinese language course and pass the examinations prior to the major study if their Chinese language level is not qualified. If students take one-year Chinese language course, the duration of the scholarship will be extended for one year. The application deadline is April 15 2015.

NGS Scholarship (NGSS) for International Students at NUS in Singapore, 2016


  National University of Singapore is offering PhD scholarship for international students with an aptitude for innovative, high calibre PhD research in Singapore. Applicants must graduates with at least 2nd Upper Honours or equivalent qualification. The scholarships will provide monthly stipend of S$3,200 up to 4 years of the PhD studies or up to date of graduation and as well as computer, book and  conference allowance. KOICA Scholarship Program (SP) for International Students in Korea, 2015

Agricultural Fellowship for Developing Countries’ Scientists in Australia, 2015



Crawford Fund invites nominations for training fellowship in agriculture, fisheries or forestry from scientists from a selected group of developing countries. The successful recipient shall spend up to three months at an Australian institution receiving further training in an aspect of agricultural research or resource development. The training shall have relevance to the needs of the recipient’s home country and the benefits that may accrue from the award of the Fellowship. Nominations for the award should be made by at least two persons with experience in agriculture and who have a good knowledge of the nominee’s background. 2015 T2M Fellowship for International Researchers at University in Turin, Italy










Applications are invited for Train To Move (T2M) research fellowship program at University in Turin (UNITO). T2M programme is open to researchers of any nationality, in possession of MSc degree, that at the time of the call deadline, are either in possession of a PhD from no more than 7 years or demonstrate to have, in the last ten years, a track record of at least 4 consecutive years of full time equivalent research experience up to 10 years.
